J’ai ajouté des annonces de Google ainsi qu’une boîte de recherche pour arrondir mes fins de mois. C’était sur Nattor mais comme je ne m’en suis pas occupé depuis quelques temps… Faites moi signe si ça ne vous plaît pas, si c’est trop gros, etc. M’enfin, ça va peut-être me servir d’excuse pour refaire un layout en trois colonnes.

À cause de Nattor, il m’arrive parfois de vendre quelques CD de gnu/linux; knoppix le plus souvent, mais je recommande préférablement kanotix. Y’a quelques jours, j’ai promis à un client une liste des équivalents Unix des commandes Microsoft Windows [Unix equivalents to Microsoft Windows commands] et bien voilà.

I still haven’t played with the layout of this site, but I added a few plugins you might want to look into if you’re also a wordpress user. Behind the scene, when you’re posting and want to trackback a bunch of usual sites, Kitten’s Quick TrackBacks is a welcomed addition. You probably never noticed, but my blogroll links sometimes have ** besides them. That’s when they’ve been updated in the last day. Enhanced by Update Linkroll. A bit more obvious is the linklog above my blogroll. Provided by Recent Links. Next step will be using delicious to take care of all that. I also want to automatically extract links from my posts and visitor comments and wrapping those up with by linklog and blogroll.

LesLes is a project I’ve been thinking about since my first encounter with c2 back in 1997. c2 was the original wiki, the Hawaiian word for “quick”. Wikis are fun, but the whole web ecology is much richer: forums/bulletin boards, cms, blogs, search engines, etc. Some applications already exists to combine some of these facets, but so far I haven’t been convinced a proper solution has been implemented. That’s where emacs, or more specifically elisp comes in.

Le Don à l’étalage (D.A.E) est une pratique de piratage du système marchand qui consiste à déposer des objets gratuits dans les rayons des commerces, sans autorisation. On peut ainsi, comme le fait la fondation Babybrul, mettre des CD gravés gratuits dans les bacs des grands disquaires, des brochures photocopiées gratuites dans les rayons à nouveautés littéraires, des DVD gravés ou des K7 vidéos dans les rayons blockbusters, etc.

I have just found KDirStat, a small KDE application (quite usable in Ion) to display treemaps of your filesystems. Recently, Debian Package a Day featured filelight, which provides a circular display of the space used. Yannick Delbecque just mentionned discus, and finally, someone pointed out tkdu, another treemap application written in python this time.

I’ve had a few sites in my life, but never so many visitors. Strangely enough, I’m not really sure what I’m doing here. I recently started to “write” a little more, which was my original intention when I started. But looking back, it’s obvious I did more sampling then anything else. Anyhow, I hope I won’t be letting anyone down. With over 10000 visits in three months, I feel a little responsible now. Which is a good thing of course :)
