Crashing
Not sure what caused it, but my GNU/Linux machine crashed this morning. Unfortunately, I crashed too for over twenty hours, so this blog and a few more sites were offline for about sixteen hours. Waking up, I was surprised by a text screen, querying me for the root password or a control-d to keep on booting. I have too many hard disks in this PC and a few partitions needed my help it seems. Still, I’d like to remove that prompt and force a complete boot to happen unattended. Any hints would be appreciated. P.S.: if you don’t know already, I’m running Debian Sarge.
