Last night, I found out through Peter on the MLUG mailing list that the CBC now provides audio streams in an open format, available for many platforms. Sylvain Carle picked up the story, bringing joy to Benoit St-André :)

can we record, host and podcast somewhere? streaming’s fine but like radio it’s time-dependent…anyone want to offer hosting space??

Why not simply use Coral Cache for your bandwidth needs ? Insert “.nyud.net:8090″ in your URL, for example http://example.com/file/ becomes http://example.com.nyud.net:8090/file/ and be done with it ?
