They know what they do is wrong, they are just trying to hide under the flag of "democracy and freedom" to conceal their illegal activities. They know they commit horrendous acts within their cells and to say the negative image of them in media is simply because of government control is pure drivel. They ARE a criminal organization, not some benign bikers group. I'm not expressing myself well so I'll just end my comments here with a thanks again (for the link). What a bunch of hooey.
