Trop de ***** / Too much ****
Je vais changer d’email mardi. Je vais changer beaucoup de choses, prendre du recul, etc. Si vous voulez continuer de communiquer avec moi (ça se pourrait), juste à m’écrire le plus tôt possible pour avoir mon nouvel email.
I’m changing email address Tuesday. Gonna make a lot of changes, take a step back, etc. If you still want to contact me (it’s a possibility) afterwards, write to me asap to get my new address.
This is totally lame… Please reconsider.

Sometimes, for reasons out of your control, like losing a domain name for example, you lose your digital self. It happens all the time and it’s not the end of the world. Usually, I let events like that take care of the mundane business for me. I get flooded ? Time for a new appartment. Computer blows up ? Time for that new installation. You get the picture.
Now and again, I think about where I am, who I am, what I do. Not very often, because I’m generally busy doing, not thinking. I’ve quoted Candy before, it’s inversely valid today :
This will surprise some, but it’s time I actually think about my self, my implications. Instead of waiting for the big quake to take care of the change for me, I will indulge in a digital suicide. This site, for example, will keep on living thru aggregation and cowgirlboat. I’m moving out to a new digidome.
I used to get 600 or 700 emails a day. I was able to cut that down to 300 or 400 in the last months. But I kept accumulating administrator and moderator duties, and those responsibilities, all the relevant content to dispatch right left and center, I can’t manage it anymore. So I’m quitting cold turkey.
You’re free to think it’s lame. I think your comment is a lame argument if you really expected me to reconsider. I’ll keep in touch with you Omar, though. Not all your arguments are lame ;)
