First Flickr uploads!
I finally uploaded a few pictures I took with my trusty jamcam to Flickr. I’ve had a account for ever, and I often take pictures at 320×240 or 640×480 which is the max rez it does (did I mention I bought my camera 30 $ about 5 years ago..?) but I hadn’t looked at Flickr too closely, until a few days ago, playing with the API to write the Flickr Letter Slideshow. Now that I know how easy it is to get pictures in and out, I guess I’m going to use it a lot more.
For some strange reason though, my tags aren’t “sticking”, not sure what’s up with that. Anyhow, I’ve been travelling a little for the holidays, and the pictures helped me feel I was sharing with Sylvia, bringing her the country side, while she stayed in Montreal.
Unfortunately, I erased some of the best pictures I had. A wrong move and bam, I was stripping you all of most pictures I took in Saint-Jacques and Sainte-Marie Salomée. I had a nature set, showing of my new bag (thank you again, Sylvia :)
I guess I’ll be posting to flickr more often, and integrating that with this blog or elsewhere.
