There’s a place in me for you
Not a sublet, but the real thing
With a door in front and one
In the back with a porch.

In the summer it smells of fresh air
The winter is chillier but we’d have each other
Long mornings to chat and cook
Engage the future or read a few books.

There’s a time, a chance,
A moment to decide, an eternity to dwell.
Long afternoons to bathe in awareness
Your face a smile, hands in every direction.

Time is a limited offer
We all get around to miss.
Hold on a second, grab as you might
It will fade, it’s in its nature.

In the back of my head an empty space
I embrace the purity it grants
For space is potential
And by extension, hope.

A crack in the ceiling,
A fly jumps head first
The crack is but a shallow illusion
The fly jumps back in full swing.

On the wall a shadow
Big as a fist dissolves to nothing.
A chair rocks, a breeze helps.
And balance rests in motion, peacefully.

Believe, expect, lead, discover,
Compare, teach, learn, prove, provoke,
Exagerate, focus, amplify, simplify.
Let’s share these means of life.

Seek whom may comfort, build, create.
Dont’t let anyone at any time
Tell you how, why, when, what
Anything.

If you want it, there’s room
In my life, room for you.
A friendly place is friendlier
The better the company is.

My door is always open
The light on the porch always lit.
An invitation to share better days
