Comparing Apple and Apple

Of course, comparing apple and oranges is just as absurd as comparing Apple and Apple, right? I just spent the last 10 minutes (ok, it was only 5, but in my world that’s an eternity to search for a company website) looking for the website of the recording label founded by the Beatles. Really, I just wanted to know, since the computer company is now 30 years old [fr], just how much older the other one was. I was a bit disappointed to learn that it was founded only 38 years ago. Although it’s true, in those 8 years a lot of great stuff happened, such as myself ;)

So, why do I care? Besides all the news Apple Computer vs Apple Corp generated, the thing is the names really are confusing. I wouldn’t have lost 10 whole minutes looking for the latter company if they weren’t. We don’t need a judge to figure that out, just try for yourself to find the Apple Corp website.
