FWIW the talk moved to http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9214789446321452386 (no idea why) and there’s now an ogg version of “Wanna Work Together?” available from http://creativecommons.org/support/videos

I understand DVD and source files will be online RSN.

Yeah, their viral marketing plan isn’t taking off at all. Wonder why….

I played with revver a bit but it knows nothing of theora unfortunately.

The irony… it requires flash on their site and it has an add attached with pay-through for them !

I prefer your version. Fortunately the original was CCed ;)

Thanks, it wasn’t too hard. The licence for the talk was “cc attribution”, so I figure it was ok to extract. This is what I used to do it:

$ ffmpeg2theora cc.avi -s 302 -e 485 -o wanna-work-together.ogg

-s for start time, -e for end time (after some fiddling, got it on the second try).
