Nitwit, the microblogging (twitter, jaiku) desktop client

A preview of Nitwit is now up, destined to be another brick in the free software wall. It should run on “linux”, windows, mac and everywhere php and gtk are available. I use it to post to twitter and jaiku for now. Thanks to Frédéric Guimont for the graphics and ideas.

  2. Very quick & simple. A good tool for micro-procrastination. I’m looking forward to the development of this app.

    I want presets, keybindings and shortcuts in my Nitwit.

  5. @Jase, are you familiar with Glade? Also, could you give me a Jaiku URL to refresh my memory please :)

    @Reaper, thanks for the comments. I’ve been offline for a few weeks and during that time took to rewrite Nitwit in Python and GTK to make it easier to run (GTK-PHP is simply not as common).

    While not making any promises, certainly not as far as any ETA goes, I will try to include most of the suggestions received here.
